We are considered an Independent Christian Church. This means were are part of the Restoration Movement of churches throughout the world that are non-denominational and try to go back and base all teachings and practices on the Bible.  We seek to learn from Christian history and yet "restore" the Christianity and the New Testament church as it is found in the Bible.  Here are six further distinctives

---We seek to follow Jesus and the Bible and restore the Christianity of the Bible in our day.
---We seek a Jesus-centered, non-denominational, and counter-cultural lifestyle.
---We seek to be led by a group of elders who oversee, pastor, and guide the church.
---We believe that baptism by immersion as an expression of faith is integral to the conversion process.
---We believe that it is good to practice the weekly observance of the Lord's Supper.
---We believe in both God's sovereignty and in genuine human free-will.
