New Community Braselton, GA
Our story began in 1999 when Dawn and I felt called to plant a new church. Because of our age (early 20’s) and our experience, we were challenged to consider finding an existing church to connect with and to learn as much as we could in that setting.
So, in October of 2000 we landed at NorthView Christian Church in Buford, GA. After spending six amazing years of ministry at NorthView, Dawn and I felt it was time to lead out with a new work. In June of 2006, we asked our Elders at NorthView if we could go to Jackson County. With much consideration and prayer, they released us to start moving forward with this vision.
Dawn and I have moved to Jackson County and are in the beginning stages of starting New Community. We are so intrigued by what is happening here and we are so excited just to a part of this community.
At this time, we have a lauch team formed with 12 families that believe in all that we are doing. Over the next several months we will host worship gatherings and have planning and prayer meetings for our team.
