I started programming (with BASIC) as a kid. My first program asked for a username and followed with several hundred system beeps. My teacher launched the program and thought he had created a virus. It was hilarious. I've since grown up (kind of), and have become passionate about using technology to share the awesome message of Jesus.
Basic Stuff: After college, I taught writing at a magnet school, and later worked as a writer for an award-winning documentary film studio. Rachel and I have been married since 2008 and have a beautiful daughter and a boy on the way! We live in Bethany, Oklahoma, and attend Bethany First Church of the Nazarene.

- Working on a Master's degree in Management Information Systems at The University of Oklahoma
- 2 Bachelor's degrees in English & Political Science from Southern Nazarene University, Bethany, OK
- Semester in Philosophy at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom
Primary Work Responsibilities: front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); level 2 technical support

- Hobbies: Reading, hiking, hardcore geekery (Node.js, Arduino, etc.)
- Bit of Randomness: Our dogs are named after Dora the Explorer characters.
