Websites Overview

Form and Function.

Those are the magic words in web development. Your website must be attractive, appealing,  and stylish (form). However, form is not enough. A pretty website that doesn't work for you, drive people to your church, or communicate properly is worthless. This is where function comes in. Function includes all of the operations of your site (reliability, effectiveness, proper maintenance, updated content, etc). Combine the two of these and you have a winning combination.

Form

The form (or design) of your website is the first thing your site visitors will see. Make that first impression count by making sure the design appeals to your target market by being creative, attractive, and personal. Determine who your target market is, determine what they like and don't like, and go from there. Are you trying to reach the 30 year old demographic? That will call for a certain type of design. Is your target crowd young families with kids? That will require a different look and feel. Check out our sample design frames that you can use as a foundation for your website.

Function

Once you've impressed your website visitors with an attractive design, you must keep them coming back with updated content and functioning features. The content is what keeps people on your site for extended periods of time, and the content will play a huge role in getting them to return. Keep your website fresh with weekly sermon multimedia, articles, blog posts, podcasts, photo galleries, and discussion forums. Our Content Management System is designed to do just this.
